Going into the biggest race of my life I was thinking this is going to hurt like hell and be very fast. Well that was correct for stage 1. We started in the town of Amos, QC which is 102k from Rouyn-Noranda where we finish every day with circuit laps. the race started off with a 3k neutral start which ended up being mass chaos due to going almost 30mph and a crash. After the official flagged us to start, the race went straight up to about 35mph and stayed there for a long time. After about 5k I had already got stuck behind 2 of 4 crashes and was already thinking of how stupid this race is. Read full article →
